A Studio-Gallery of Fine Craft and Art

Picture
Welcome to Alley Kat Art, Kauai's little studio-gallery in the alley.  Alley Kat Art is a gallery of local fine craft and art, located in the heart of Old Kapaa Town, on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.  We're just off main street, in the alley and off the beaten path, Kauai's favorite fringe gallery.  The studio-gallery includes the glass and silver jewelry artwork of artist/designer Kathy McClelland Cowan, owner of Alley Kat Art.  Check out the art scene for current happenings, featured artists, art walks and new items.

On the first Saturday of each month Alley Kat Art participates in Old Kapaa Town's Art Walk, featuring local artists and an exhibit of their newest art or fine craft.  Exhibits change monthly, showcasing talented Kauai and Hawaii artists, who work in pottery, wood, glass, paper, metals, fiber, multi-material collage, watercolor, acrylic, oil, gauche and pen and ink. These are artists that are considered some of Kauai's most brilliant, creative and finest at what they do.  Art Walk is a lively night of culture, live music and entertainment, fire dancing and other art expressions.  Check out our gallery page for a list of featured artists for upcoming Old Kapaa Town Art Walks.

At Alley Kat Art, we also teach classes.  Lampworking in soft glass, Silver Jewelry Fabrication, Wire Wrapping, Glass Fusing and Metal Art Clay and more.  You can call for a schedule of classes available or you can schedule a private class working one-on-one with the instructor.  Check out our classes page.
